The farm

Finca La Encanada (“The Farm in the Canyon”) is a 12-hectare coffee farm bordered by the beautiful Tonchima River. Managed by Dionicio and his family, the farm focuses on exceptional coffee production and sugar cane distillation.

The history

In 2010, Finca La Encanada hosted finalists of the World Barista Championship for a reality-TV-style challenge. Among them was Scottie Callaghan, co-founder of FINEPRINT, who forged a lasting connection with Dionicio while gaining firsthand insight into the challenges of coffee farming. Inspired by Dionicio’s dedication to sustainability and quality, FINEPRINT has committed to purchasing his coffee directly from the farm.
