Huila, one of Colombia’s better known coffee growing regions, produces coffee with a full body and excellent structure. Other than the usual Castillo and Caturra varieties, farmers of Pitalito also cultivate exotic selections unique to the region.
Our Huila Pitalito is decaffeinated using sugar cane. Sugar cane decaffeination is a natural decaffeination process, circulating the coffee with a naturally-occurring ester derived from molasses. This circulation slowly and naturally extracts caffeine in the coffee, while leaving the other flavour compounds intact, producing a truly delicious coffee.
Enjoy a full-bodied single origin, free of caffeine, with notes of dark chocolate, rich honey, and stone fruit sweetness.
