District Manager

As District Manager, you will lead a network of stores and take full accountability for the operational excellence and commercial success of your district. Your primary mission is to coach, develop, and inspire FINEPRINT Store Managers, translating the company’s vision into daily cafe execution and fostering a strong sense of connection for both our teams and our community. You will divide your time dynamically between your cafe network and the FINEPRINT office, adapting your energy to the shifting needs of each store. This role reports directly into the Head of Operations, with all Store Managers in your district reporting directly into you. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Train, mentor and guide Store Managers of each store in your district, fostering high team morale, strong employee relations and a culture of continuous development.
  
  
• Oversee daily operations across your district to ensure seamless execution of company initiatives, strict adherence to brand standards, operational excellence and full compliance with the staff handbook.
  
  
• Monitor and uphold FINEPRINT's standards for food, beverage, service, and the overall guest experience to ensure absolute consistency across all locations.
  
  
• Maintain a deep understanding of our offering, from specialty coffee and bakery to barista techniques, and effectively pass this knowledge down to cafe teams.
  
  
• Oversee optimal roster planning and shift breakdowns aligned with business demands, while maintaining strict oversight of inventory and wastage management.
  
  
• Lead communications and escalation for system and maintenance issues, actively diagnosing problems and train teams in resolving them independently where possible. 
  
  
• Act as the communication bridge between Store Managers and Senior Management, to ensure alignment on all business updates.
  
  
• Lead by example by working alongside your teams, consistently delivering and championing the high standard of honest hospitality that FINEPRINT is known for. 
  
  
• Track performance across your district, actively gathering on-the-ground insights from your stores to provide feedback and collaborative ideas on how we can drive sales and maximize revenue. 

What we’re looking for: 

• 5+ years experience in a similar multi-outlet leadership position within a fast-paced, high-volume F&B environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to strategically plan your own schedule based on the needs of the stores in your district. 
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem solving skills, with the confidence to handle operational challenges calmly and efficiently.
• You care deeply about hospitality, people, and the story behind the product.
• A strong feeling for numbers and feel comfortable analyzing store metrics, managing labor costs, and identifying revenue opportunities.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus.
