The Farmers

Small-scale farmers are the backbone of Kenya’s coffee industry. With over 600,000 growers, most farming on less than 5 acres, they produce nearly 70% of the country’s coffee. These farmers join cooperative societies, working together to run mills and keep up the high quality that Kenyan coffee is known for.
