Aulia Kahfi cultivates coffee on his family farm, Rakyat. He selectively handpicks ripe cherries and processes them himself. For this natural lot, he soaks the cherries in clean water for two days and lays them on patios to dry, raking them frequently to ensure consistency, which takes up to 15 days. The result is a juicy and sweet single origin, with notes of lemon, tropical fruit, and berries.
Since inheriting the coffee business from his family, Aulia has expanded it by purchasing cherries to process from neighbouring farmers in Lukup Sabun, Pantan Sile, Gegarang, and Ratawali. A testament to his dedication to quality, his coffee placed top nine in the 2019 Sumatra Prestige Cup.
